INNOVANZA'25 PRESENTS
Chem in Motion

Chem in Motion
What it’s all about.
Chem-in-Motion is an exciting and competitive event that blends engineering creativity with fundamental chemical principles. Participants will design and construct a simple car using plastic bottles and other basic materials, harnessing the power of chemical energy for propulsion. The car will be powered by the reaction between vinegar and baking soda, demonstrating an innovative approach to understanding chemical reactions in a practical and entertaining way. The challenge lies in optimizing the design to maximize efficiency and distance travelled.
roadmap
Flow of Event
Introduction
Brief introduction and explanation of chemical propulsion.
Problem Statement Release
Participants will bring their own chemically propelled cars, pre-built from self- purchased materials, to the event center.
Evaluation
The cars will be judged based on speed, distance, and efficiency of propulsion.
The participant or team with the best-performing car will be declared the winner.
